Club Secretary Wayne had egg on his face when his annual
chook raffle turned into high farce.
Wayne was unable to find a chook, thinking they must be
adjacent to the egg section in Coles.
Wayne
knew of some beef that had been going cheap after an export ban to Indonesia
crashed the price and secured a meat platter.
Despite the obvious differences in appearance Wayne insisted
the meat was in fact Chicken and still refuses to concede he is wrong.
Winner Dennis Dumfuc played along with Wayne and assured us
all he dined on his favourite Chicken Parmigiana last night and will again
tonight.
